Britton Wilson of Arkansas, one of the three finalists for the women's 2023 Bowerman Award, discusses the Thursday's celebration and how she is approaching the 2024 Olympic year. Wilson broke three collegiate records in 2023, taking the down the indoor and outdoor 400-meter records and also the indoor 600. Her indoor 400 time of 49.48 seconds is an American record. A member of the World Championship gold medal 4x400 relay team in 2022, Wilson fought through stress fractures in both shins to keep performing for her team.
